  • January 15th, 2008 - Aegisub 2 alpha r1723 for Windows released. This fixes many issues over 1611. This version is very highly recommended over any previous Aegisub version - we're close to 2.00 RC1 now. You can get it on the pre-release builds page.
  • October 19th, 2007 - Aegisub 2 alpha r1611 for Windows released. This is the best version of Aegisub ever (we'd like to think at least) and is stable enough for daily use, don't let the "alpha" label scare you away. Head over to the pre-release builds page for download links and further information. We also still need Linux and *BSD testers, especially people who aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty with code.
  • April 3rd, 2007 - Mac OS X, Linux and FreeBSD testers and developers WANTED. Aegisub currently has nearly-complete functionality on Linux and FreeBSD, but its status on Mac OS X is presently unknown. If you have any experience with development for these platforms, please join us on our IRC channel. Testers are also welcome!
  • March 28th, 2007 - #aegisub has moved to Rizon. Because of the recent technical issues with Chatsociety (DNS and Services dead for a week), several channels have moved away from it to other IRC networks.
